KOEI Ltd. today announced that the next title on the Radar is
‘Naval Ops: Warship Gunner’ which will launch in Europe in autumn 2003.

Build a ship, sail into the heart of enemy waters and put it to the test. Strike deep, strike quick and strike hard and you may prove competent enough to succeed. Choose the wrong weapons, lose sight of the enemy and not take time to protect your ship from enemy fire and you will be swimming with the fishes.

Choose from one of multiple gameplay modes, including Survival Mode and World War II mode and equip yourself from a complete array of weapons: from the mighty guns of World War II to present day weapon systems and beyond.

Game Features:
• Strategy Phase – Design build or modify a battleship for each mission.
• Invest in technology, develop new weapons and obtain parts to strengthen your vessel.
• Battle Phase – Destroy enemy ships. Retrieve new items when you complete a mission. You can also get new parts for your ship after destroying the enemy.
• Warship Evaluation System – Evaluate the performance of user-designed warships based on various criteria to educate the player about building better ships.
• Survival Mode – Place your designed ship in extreme circumstances with no chance of recovery.
• World War II Mode – Developed for players who consider themselves the most dedicated of military enthusiasts and want an authentic World War II experience.
• Fully comprehensive tutorial.
