KOEI Ltd, the European subsidiary of KOEI CO., Ltd of Japan established operations in 2003, based just outside of London in Hertfordshire.

KOEI is respected worldwide as the premier brand for strategy and simulation games, and is recognised as the innovator of the Tactical Action genre. The company’s Dynasty Warriors series has generated more than 5 million unit sales worldwide since releasing for PlayStation consoles in 1997.

In 2002, KOEI’s Dynasty Warriors 3 was one of only six software products honoured with the “Excellence Award” by Japan’s Computer Entertainment Software Association. For two consecutive years, the media and consumers alike have also honoured the company with awards for Best Strategy Game of the Year (ign.com). KOEI’s highly respected franchises including Dynasty Tactics and Romance of the Three Kingdoms continue to empower video game enthusiasts with the opportunity to experience heroic adventures and explore intriguing historical periods.

KOEI maintains operations in Japan the U.S, Canada, China, Korea and Taiwan. KOEI employs over six hundred people worldwide, with sales exceeding $200 million.
